About Spevco

SPEVCO, Inc. (Special Vehicles Company) founded in 1978 and located near Winston-Salem, N.C. is a privately held company that specializes in custom fabrication of vehicles and trailers for unique applications.  In 2004, the SPEVCO Medical Division evolved and continues to provide mobile medical units consisting of mobile hospitals, clinics, surgical suites, and many others forms of healthcare and training vehicles. SPEVCO provided FEMA with a variety of mobile medical units and mobile sleep quarters for medical professionals during the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief effort. In 2008, SPEVCO delivered a mobile medical unit to the State of Minnesota Department of Health which debuted at the National Republican Convention.  SPEVCO works with hospital systems, physicians, care givers, and medical equipment vendors to successfully design and manufacture “vehicles for need”.
